Tell us a little bit about yourself, what do you do?
I’m Lana Wilkinson, a fashion stylist and the founder of Lana Wilkinson shoes. My work is all about helping people feel empowered and confident, whether it’s through a styled outfit or a pair of show stopping shoes. Our mission at the brand is to create shoes that are as wearable as they are glamorous so that everyone can find a piece to put their best foot forward in.
What does a perfect day at work look like to you?
A perfect day at work starts with a great morning routine, and I find an early exercise session (strength or pilates) gets my mind and body on track to start the day. After this, I’ll have a coffee and get ready for the office.
I love diving into creative projects like brainstorming campaign ideas and new collections. It’s also important for me to take time to connect with customers, whether it’s reading feedback or engaging with them on social media. At the end of the day I’ll leave some time to reply to emails and tick off the remaining tasks for the day.

How long have you been in the office?
We moved into the office in the middle of 2024 – it’s been less than a year but it’s already become a true reflection of the brand’s journey and personality.
How did you initially know this was the space for you?
As soon as we walked into the space it felt like the perfect blank canvas to create a collaborative and inspiring workspace. It had an open layout, abundance of natural light and an urban feel which aligns with the Lana Wilkinson identity.
What inspired your design choices for the office?
The design was inspired by the elements of our brand, glamour meets practicality. We wanted to balance a minimalist aesthetic with touches that spark creativity. Trit House’s pieces give us the perfect mix of comfort and style, which aligned beautifully with our vision.

Is there a particular colour palette or texture you love working with?
My go to has always been neutral tones with a pop of colour. For our office, we leaned into warm beiges and soft greys with an emphasis on rich textures like velvet and boucle. Our interior designer Annabel Kerr did an amazing job at creating a sense of luxury and tactility.
What are your favourite things about the space?
The light-filled desk/office area is where most of our creative ideas are born and Trit House’s furniture makes it a really inviting space to collaborate. Having a space to display all of our samples and creative ideas let’s us visualise a collection and helps us bring it to life.
Did you have a clear idea of the overall aesthetic you wanted to create in your office?
Yes! I always wanted the space to feel professional but relaxed at the same time. We’re a creative team so we needed space and light to get inspired and thrive.

Emily Arm Chair & Farnsworth Shelf
How would you describe your interior style?
My interior style is very similar to how I approach fashion choices – I always aim to be glamorous and timeless with a touch of edge. I want my interior pieces to feel polished but have subtle hints of personality throughout.
Which Trit House pieces are your favourites?
It’s so hard to choose but I think the Yogi Sideboard is one of my favourites – the marble top is sleek and luxurious, it’s definitely our most complemented pieces in the space! We also love the Emily arm chairs for their mix of comfort and style.
