Where the Light Lives — Inside the Opening of Trit House Bundall
As part of our celebration of 20 Years of Inspired Living, we officially opened the doors to our newest showroom in Bundall — a space shaped by light, connection and the way our customers want to live now.

Designed in collaboration with Collectivus, the showroom reflects a more immersive expression of Trit House on the Gold Coast. Warm timber finishes, custom joinery and moments of unexpected colour help ground the expansive space, creating a showroom that feels both elevated and inviting. Designed to evolve as new collections arrive, the showroom brings together Trit House’s network of global brands in a way that feels inspiring, tactile and distinctly connected to coastal living.

For Trit House director Ivan Yoong, Bundall represents a long-considered next step for the brand.
“It took us nearly two years to find the right space on the Gold Coast,” Ivan shares. “We’ve opened amongst a strong furniture retail presence in Bundall, but we knew there was an opportunity to offer something different. Something more layered, expressive and design-driven.”
“As our Queensland community has grown, it felt like the right time to expand. Customers are becoming more confident in their spaces again, moving beyond safe, neutral interiors and embracing homes with more warmth, personality and individuality.”
An Evening Designed to Linger
To celebrate the opening, we welcomed our community for an evening inspired by the spirit of the showroom itself: calm, considered and full of warmth. Our Live DJ set the tone as friends gathered in corners that felt more like homes than displays.

As guests moved through the space, they explored the collections with a spritz in hand and Italian-inspired canapés by Bar Monte. Our custom styling consultation desk transformed for the evening into a bar serving Roro Spritz by Zonzo Estate alongside martinis by Glow Up Beverages and of course Wallaby Water.

To capture the mood of the evening beyond opening night, we created a curated playlist inspired by the relaxed rhythm of the space — designed for slow mornings, long lunches and gatherings that stretch late into the evening.
Celebrating Local Creativity
The opening also marked the introduction of local artist Cara Sanders to the Trit House family, with two exclusive works in the Bundall store.
Working from her studio in Burleigh Heads, Cara’s practice is inspired by the landscapes surrounding her. Through layered forms and flowing movement, her works explore familiarity, emotion and the relationship between people and place.
Her piece Lilla draws inspiration from aerial views of the Gold Coast coastline — capturing the way waves move rhythmically onto the shoreline — while Euca reflects the harmony and grounding energy of the Gold Coast hinterland.
The works offer a distinctly local perspective while complementing the warmth and texture of the collections around them.

Design Moments That Resonated
Throughout the evening, guests naturally gravitated towards pieces from A Place To Unwind — Drop 2: The Art of Staying In, heroed at the entrance of the showroom. Designed around the rituals of slowing down and creating spaces that invite people in, the Beckett and Lucien Sofas created the perfect place to catchup during the evening.

Rich textures, warm neutrals and sculptural silhouettes created a sense of comfort that resonated immediately with guests, many lingering within the space long after arriving.
Pieces from United Strangers quickly became one of the most photographed moments of the night. Layered with bold shapes, expressive finishes and a more playful energy, the collection brings contrast and personality to the showroom, our go-to brand for creating a well-travelled, lived-in look.
Designed to Be Experienced
One of the most interactive moments within the showroom is our custom rug display, showcasing the latest collection from Baya. Exploring textures, comparing tones and seeing how each piece could transform a space.
This sense of interaction was central to the design of the showroom itself. Rather than simply displaying furniture, the Bundall space has been created to encourage exploration and inspire new ways of living at home. From relaxed outdoor settings to intimate dining moments and layered living spaces, every corner has been thoughtfully considered to feel warm, welcoming and real.

More Than a Showroom
As we continue celebrating 20 years of inspired living, the opening of Bundall feels like more than a new showroom. It represents the next chapter of Trit House — one grounded in connection, creativity and spaces designed to be lived in fully.

Whether visiting for inspiration, discovering new collections or booking a styling consultation with our team, Bundall has been created as a place to slow down, explore and imagine what home could feel like.
We look forward to welcoming you into the space.
