The end of December provides a touchstone to reflect on our achievements from the last twelve months. As a company Trit is inspired by our customers, we work hard to make sure we are providing you with the best products and constantly improving our service and offerings.
Not only do we look back on all we have achieved as a company, but also what our team members past and present have contributed to the success of the business. We share in their personal success and achievements and acknowledge their contribution.
After launching our Flagship Hawthorn showroom in November 2022 we completed this year the installation of our 56 piece Lodes Volum Pendant Lights to fill our show stopping void.
The Trit House family has continued to expand, adding 13 new bands and over 2,600 products in the last year. We of course, must mention our collaboration with long time friend of the brand Rebecca Judd. The Tiramisu collection has captured the imagination of many with its stunning marble details. Each piece is a unique work of art and shooting at her Brighton home was a highlight of the 23 campaign shoots we captured this year.
Over the last few years, we have consistently sought out new global brands that share our focus on the environment and sustainable manufacturing practices, most notably, Urban Nature Culture whose accessories are made from recycled materials, and dBodhi who uses recycled teak and natural weaves like coconut husk to create pieces with meaning. dBodhi’s collection brings a distinctly raw and ethereal essence to our collection of brands. A welcome arrival for anyone seeking the need to bring more of the natural world into their home. New brand Ferm Living and several other of our existing brands are emphasising the use of eco-friendly fabrics made from recycled materials and repurposing plastic waste.
We have enjoyed meeting with and fostering relationships with our suppliers both here at home and abroad at trade fairs. This year we focused on promoting local Artists established and emerging such as Tegan Lloyd, Lizzie Alsop & most recently Nunzio Miano. Their point-of-view expressed through original works brings a room to life. Providing a level of depth and detail to our in house shoots. While internationally we enjoyed going to trade shows in person to ensure our collection is always on the pulse of the latest trends and technologies. Looking back on our Trend Report for 2023 – https://blog.trithouse.com.au/blog/articles/the-milan-report-design-week-2023/ it’s great to see how many of these came to fruition throughout our collection.
As the year comes to a close, Trit isn’t slowing down. We’ve just recently released The Bubbles Collection, an exciting bedside table range designed in house by Tony Lin. With many more things in the pipeline for next year (like new showroom locations) we are ready for a bigger and bolder 2024.
